I hope everyone had a great Christmas, this will almost certainly be the last blog post of 2016 but there is no need to shed a tear as I’m hoping to come back bigger and stronger in the new year!

Once again this is not a new year’s resolution just a date observation which I’m using as a check point, being a chubby drinker and smoker I gave up on new year’s resolutions a long time ago.

I stop smoking on the first, I’ll get to the gym on the first…… I’ve lied to myself so many times! The best thing I’ve found is to not make unrealistic promises to myself but instead to just get on with the hard work of achieving what I want one step at a time.

I haven’t got to where I want to be by any means yet, but I’m a lot further forward than I thought I would be at this point, so I’m content and happy with what I have created so far with Rainywood.

Still I need to move forward and keep pushing myself and the business as much as possible, learning as much as I can while improving, that is my plan for the coming year and it’s the only thing I’m prepared to promise myself.

I must thank those that are reading the blog and I hope you continue to do so in the coming year, I’ll try and keep it as interesting as I can, I’m happy with the progress that I have made so far and I hope you’ll agree that my writing has improved, even if it’s only a little.
